Billy was born in Hong Kong. Before immigrating to Canada in 1988, he had worked as a pharmacist and later as a sales director for international companies. He had travelled frequently among Hong Kong, China, Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, the Philippines, Indonesia, Korea, Guam, India, Pakistan, and U.S. to market and sell innovative medical and hospital products.

In British Columbia, Billy continued his sales career in real estate. In 1992, he founded Magsen Realty Inc. providing brokerage services for agents, trading and rental management.

In the past thirty one years, Billy had helped many clients and families settle down in new homes or started new businesses. As owner and managing broker, Billy oversees the company's operation and supervises real estate licensees on a daily basis. He enjoys meeting new people and clients.

Billy is often invited by Fairchild Radio FM96.1 and Talentvision to speak on real estate topics. He is also a volunteer for S.U.C.C.E.S.S., a non-profitable organization, by giving talks about real estate and rental issues to new immigrants.

Billy is a member of Real Estate Board of Greater Vancouver (REBGV) Master Medallion Club and Quarter Century Club, and has committed to delivering experienced, professional, and efficient service to his clients. He speaks fluent Mandarin, Cantonese, and English. He will listen closely to his clients' needs, and help them to achieve their ultimate goals.

As a managing broker, Maurice provides support and advice to the agents at Magsen Realty while overseeing the day-to-day activities in both the sales department and the property management department. He also leads the in-house sales team in buying and selling services in Metro Vancouver.

Maurice joined Magsen Realty in 2009 as a rental property manager and later became a sales associate, associate broker, and eventually a managing broker. With a background in Economics and Geography (Environmental Studies), he has a keen interest in city development and growth.
